There have been intellectual fireworks! Oxford and Cambridge - two names that have defined the pursuit of knowledge for centuries - went head-to-head in a battle of big ideas. On Saturday 30 May 2026, the Oxford Quaker Meeting House played host to Philosophy Row: Strange Wisdom, a stimulating afternoon of debate, games, slams, and sharp thinking.

Dr Stephen Law, President of The Philosophical Society: Oxford (PhilSoc) and Dr Alex Carter, President of the Cambridge Applied Philosophy Society (CAPS) at the First Annual Philosophy Row, hosted by PhilSoc Oxford.
